    不得不佩服作者的学识,虽然作为心理系学生来说大多内容都是常识,不过以自己的思想轨迹来串联做得很好,立意也不错。Haidt最让人佩服的是能跳脱自己的立场看到辩证统一的东西,大概是受了些东方哲学的影响

    感觉是the righteous mind和the coddling of the American mind的前身,讨论什么是和怎样得到happiness。Jon说自己是atheist和liberal,但对于religion和conservative的优点都写得非常好,从古老的东西方智慧到生物进化论到现代心理学经济学哲学,书后面厚厚的reference,非常受用。

    挺喜欢最后一章得出的Happiness comes from between的结论,但其实整本书加入了太多无关延展的讨论。像Intro书,但是又不够系统。只是把各种著名心理学实验哲学观念揉在一起就成了一个讲“Great Idea”的书籍,但科学哲学两边都没有讲透,甚至标题里的“ancient wisdom”的成分仅仅是每章开头的引言了。只是披了一个科学的皮,内里还有好多是“happiness industry”里的鸡汤成分,太多这样的书籍也是不值得推崇的。还有一些小的观点令人不大赞同,比如作者一直在论证世界的所有关系都是由reciprocity和随之而来的gratitude和vengeance构成的,但我们的世界里真的就没有给无私与奉献的空间了吗?
