可以证明12-22目前看到的牛津通识里比较好的一本，清晰，巧妙。解决了一些疑惑，比如文艺复兴这个理想的、男性中心又（南）欧洲中心的概念构建于19世纪。其实人文主义、大航海、宗教改革都是复杂的大事，居然扎堆在这里，生活在当时大概是快乐并焦虑着吧（和现在一样）
