我认为，女性对自己的表现的要求要比男性更高，因此对女性而言，完美主义是个尤为危险的陷阱。在创意领域，女性的声音和观点之所以没能得到广泛宣传，原因有很多，比如男女不平等的现象，但在很多情况下，女性其实是阻碍自己参与创意领域的“罪魁祸首”。她们遏制着自己的想法、能力、领导力与业绩。很多女性仍然相信，在她们的自我和业绩达到完美和无可挑剔的境界之前，是绝对不该展现自我的。相比之下，因羞于将远不完美的作品展现出来，所以不敢参与全球文化交流，这样的情况却很少发生在男性身上。顺便提一句，我说这话并没有抨击男性的意思。男性那种强大到荒谬的自信，让他们能说出：“好吧，我有41%的把握，那就把这任务交给我好了！”这是我所欣赏的特征。没错，虽然他们最终的成果有时只能用可笑和一团糟来形容，但奇怪的是，这一招有时还真管用。一个看似没有做好准备且能力不足的男性，却能因疯狂的放手一搏，瞬间就将其潜力超常发挥出来。我真心希望有更多女性也可以像男性一样去放手一搏。
