    文本内在的极大张力,多方面不同层次的意涵造就了这部经典——就好像《资本论》之于经济学,《君主论》一方面,没有完全摆脱主体,去研究客观的系统;但反过来说,马基雅维利研究的本来也不是政治科学(正如马克思要做的是在整体上把握资本主义,而非“经济”)。所以读这类著作的方法也不应该是消解分析式的,即将其中论断归纳到政治伦理等分科之学中去,再去判断其于该“科”学的意义;而是综合地用一种同情去理解——就好像读一部小说——去把握其中整体的“形象”。
